The Forecast of a Christian in a Man Down Situation!

If you’ve ever seen the Keisha Cole Show and her mom Frankie, you’ve heard of a “Man Down Situation”, a “Man Down Situation” is one where recovery is bleak to say the least, but I know from experience that no matter how bleak the forecast of recovery may be God is able to restore!  Romans 8:28 says, And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called accordding to his purpose for them and I thank God even more for the first part of verse 29, that says, For God knew his people in advance!

As I sat and thought about the things I’m in prayer about, as well as those things I’ve been requested to pray for, there are a lot of people with forecasts that appear gloomy, depressing, and hopeless.  Inflation up, incomes down, unemployment up, health down,  foreclosures, and repossessions are at an all-time high, BUT God is his love for us gave me the vision of the weather report on the daily news.   There are days when the report of rain, low temps, and fog doesn’t leave much promise for the day, but just because the day starts that way, doesn’t mean that’s how it ends because something happens when the sun comes out, the fog disappears, the temperature rises and the rain goes away.

Well, God showed me it’s that same way with life’s “Man Down Situations”, no matter how bleak our circumstances may look, when the SON comes out, everything has to change!! Although God does not shelter us from difficulties, we as Christians should know that he is always with us, and we, as the word tells us, can joy in tribulation for tribulation worketh patience and patience, hope, hope that maketh not ashame because the love of God is shown. (Romans 5:3-5). He loves us unconditionally and always!!  He has also promised never to leave us nor forsake us. (Deut. 31:6).  Therefore, never doubt child of God, your forecast is SON (E) and bright!
