The devotional below is one sent to me from a friend in Chicago. I had to send her a response letting her know how it blessed me, and how it confirmed my encouragement to a family member just hours prior to getting this. God is so awesome, never fail to trust him folks, he’s one you can always trust to see you SAFELY through! Until next time be encouraged! Read below:

PRAISE HIM FOR THE CLOSED DOORS
There are times when I have run down a path believing it was for me and suddenly, the path veered off to a dead end. When the realization of the closed door hit me, I was confused and counted it as a loss. I had to stop and remind myself that everything happens according to God’s plan and not mine. God closes doors so we will take a different course, choose a different door and walk through the door to find our blessing waiting on the other side. If God didn’t close the wrong door, we wouldn’t find the right one. Spirit directs us by opening and closing doors. Instead of moaning because my path has been blocked, I give praise, remembering that God can do for me even much more than I could ever imagine. I remember that God is always a present help and stay centered in my peace. Doesn’t scripture say “No good thing will he withhold from them that love him?”
If you cannot reach someone after trying repeatedly, let it go. It might be Spirit setting up a positive contact. If you lose your job, praise God for the new and better opportunities that are manifesting. Sometimes Spirit will not say turn left here, turn right there. Sometimes our Father-Mother God will just close the wrong doors. I praise him for the closed doors. Thank you, Power – in me, through me, as me, around me, in the name of Jesus Christ. And so it is.
“Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own will and his grace…”
