It's Time to Shift

When I read my devotional from Joel Osteen this morning, and read the prayer that you will find at the end of this blog, I couldn’t help but share it to encourage you today. So often we Christian don’t realize the power of the Holy Spirit that is available and ready to be activated in our lives.  I preached a message on Sunday with the title, “It’s Time to Shift”, some of us have remained in “park” too long; we have allowed setups and setbacks from our past to keep us in fear, instead of being in faith.

 Some of us are too quick to “reverse” always looking back at what was, well “was” is over, let’s move into “what is”. 

Too many of us are complaining about being in “neutral”, not realizing while being in neutral if we are in the right position, we can still move, we don’t have to stop because life changed or became difficult. We might not get there as fast as we want to, but at least we are still moving.  Sometimes we need “neutral” to reevaluate and ask God to direct our path. 

Then we must realize it’s God’s plan to prosper us, give us hope, and a future and the only way we will get there it shift to “drive” move in what he’s promised, move in what the Word says is available to us through Christ Jesus!  His promises are still yea and Amen!  Repeat the prayer below by Pastor, Joel Osteen, then shift!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for the power of Your Holy Spirit at work in me. Today, I surrender every area of my heart, my mind, my will and my emotions to You. Thank You for directing my steps and giving me the power to overcome in this life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
