I Got to Pay Him Back! Psalm 116:12-14

When I look back over my life, from my days in Georgia to my journey here in Tennessee, and think about the ups and downs, hills and valleys, dangers seen and unseen, HIS faithfulness to me even when I was unfaithful to HIM, I realized how much I owe God. And if you just be truthful about it, you too know that you owe God…

• Every time HE look beyond our faults and see our needs…..we owe God!

• Every time HIS grace covers habits and vices we need to get rid of…..we owe God!

• Every time HE lets us live with something that’s killed other people… we owe God!

• Every time HE’S kept us when we didn’t want to be kept and didn’t realize we needed keeping…..we owe God!

• When HE put the brakes on all the crazy decisions we would have made…we owe God!

• When you know it shoulda been you, it coulda  been you and if it hadn’t been for the Lord on your side it woulda been you……you know you owe God!

In verse 12 of the scripture, we have David expressing his gratitude because he knew God had been better to him than his fears, and had graciously delivered him out of his distresses; and in consideration he has to ask this question “what do I render to him! My question to you today is what will you render….how will you pay him pay back???  Let’s start with just saying “THANK YOU!
