These words are still resonating in my heart and soul from Sunday’s church service! This morning as I spent time with the Savior, meditation on his word, singing those words over and over again, “He’s Able”, I began to think on the word “able”, and even before going to Webster I thought of the word in the sense of one being well capable; then I went to Webster and its definition was having the necessary power, skill, resources, or qualification to do something, that’s good news today saints! But my mule began to get loose (my praise became undignified, AGAIN!) when below that meaning it gave an explanation of the word “able” when it’s used as a “suffix” (attached to a word), capable of, susceptible of, fit for, tending to, or given to. See that lets me know it doesn’t matter where or when we need him, before the trouble, trials and heartaches or after, He is able! It doesn’t matter if it’s before I get the pink slip or after, before the relationship ends or after, before the doctor’s report or after, before the repossession/foreclosure or after, before court date or after, before the rent is due or after, before the tuition is due or after, we know God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all I could ever ask or think according to the power that’s works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We can attach God to any problem, any situation, at any point in it and come out victorious because He’s able!!!! I might be willing but not able, our friends and family might be willing and not able. But God is willing and he’ s able!
