God Remembers...

I was reading the story of Noah a couple of days ago and was reminded that just because the rain had ended, didn’t mean that Noah could leave the ark. Genesis 7:24 says, The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days, 8:1 says, BUT (Hallelujah) God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and the send a a wind over the earth and the waters receded.
My encouragement to you today is, you may be in the stench of life, bills due, health failing, wayward child, broken relationship, unemployed, feelings of being misused and taken for granted, whatever the case, don’t leave the ark, the covering, the protection, the will and word of God. As Noah sent out the raven and dove to see if the waters had receded, God remembers you and he is sending his angel to guard you, to keep you safe, to keep you sane until it’s time to come out.
God used a raven one that will rest and feed on dead stuff, and a dove one that will only rest upon what is dry and clean to determine Noah’s departure. Today in our stinking places, I see God using the good and the not so good things of this life to gauge our willingness to wait on him. I know the stench seems unbearable, but don’t move until God says move. Don’t be weary in your waiting or in your well doing, the grounds are almost ready, your due season is almost here, harvest time is upon God’s people because he promised never to leave us nor forsake us therefore, I decree our lives fruitful and multiplying, replenished with good things in Jesus name! Until next time, be encouraged!
