Embrace Wisdon

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the binning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

In this age of information, knowledge is plentiful, but wisdom is scarce.  Wisdom means far more than simply knowing a lot.  It is a basic attitude that affects every aspect of life.  The foundation of knowledge  is to fear the Lord, to honor and respect God, to live in awe of his power, and to obey his Word. 

Only a fool despises wisdom and discipline.  This is the person who thinks they already know it all, have a closed attitude when it comes to anything new, having a dogmatic opinion about everything, resents discipline and refuses to have a teachable spirit. 

To embrace wisdom, be open to receive advise from others, especially those who know you well and can give valuable insight and counsel.  Learn how to learn from others and remember only God know it all!  Be encouraged!!
