Christianity in Crisis

As I watched all the feed back from our recent elections, it’s very evident that Christianity is in crisis.  Even, some of those who profess to know Christ have caused Republicans, Democrats and Indepedents to “ruffle their feathers”, stir up anxiety and question their faith. 

What we must not forget is that as long as we live on this side of eternity, there will be those who will lie, cheat, steal and kill to gain a platform for their own agendas, but God is still in charge.  He’s all seeing, all knowing and Almighty.  The immoral acts of this world is not hidden from his view and  judgement still belongs to him.  Every man and woman will be judged according to the words and deeds done whether they are good or bad. 

So, as Christian we should keep it moving, pressing toward the mark of a higher calling which is in Christ Jesus and don’t allow the prince of this world to blind us, he knows he’s already defeated, he’s just trying to take some folks with him.  Don’t argue, just stand for what is right, and keep praying, even praying for those you know are plotting evil doing.  As Christians we wear the robe of Jesus’ righteousness , we are covered under the wing of the Almighty; if God be for us, who can be against us; no weapon formed against us shall prosper; the earth is still the Lord’s and the fulness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein; the Lord is our light and our salvation whom shall we fear, the Lord is our strength of our lives whom shall we be afraid when our enemies come to eat of our flesh they stumbled and fail and I could go on…..why are we in crisis Christians?  Why are we worried about who has the most representation in Congress, House of Representatives, the Senate or even the White House, our trust is not in man, our trust is in the Lord or is it?

I will leave you with some of  Psalms 37  “Fret not thyself because of evil doers, neither be thou envious of the workers of iniquity, for they shall soon be cut off and withered as green grass.
